Today is the Day of Uttam Satya which means the topmost truth
A person who through the power of his intellect elaborates the sutras of scriptures in his own way independently, freely cannot be a Samyak drashti because he is not following the original principles of Jainism
A monk abstains all together from lies
There are 4 categories of lies:
Not telling what is there
Telling what is not there
Changing something in the speech while speaking
Speaking harshly, speaking fowl words
Our speech must not create violence
Views are different that is why vision is different
Violence can never be religion. Non violence is the main religion
On the fourth day of this great festival we chant :ॐ ह्रीं उत्तम सत्य धर्मांगाय नमः (Om Hrim Uttam Satya Dharmangaya Namah)
